fasting in muharram 9th & 10th or 10th & 11th

***,Volume 3, Book 31, Number 117:
Narrated 'Aisha:
(The tribe of) Quraish used to fast on the day of Ashura' in the Pre-lslamic period, and then Allah's Apostle ordered (Muslims) to fast on it till the fasting in the month of Ramadan was prescribed; whereupon the Prophet said, "He who wants to fast (on 'Ashura') may fast, and he who does not want to fast may not fast."***
***It is permissible to fast the day of ‘Ashoora’ on its own, but it is better to fast the day before it or the day after it. This is the Sunnah that is proven from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), as he said, “If I am still alive next year, I will certainly fast the ninth.” Narrated by Muslim
***Muslim,Book 006, Number 2529:
Abdullah b 'Abbas reported that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) had said: If I live till the next (year), I would definitely observe fast on the 9th, and the narration transmitted by Abu Bakr is:" He meant the day of Ashura.***
***according to a version narrated by Muslim, “This is a great day when Allaah saved Moosa and his people and drowned Pharaoh and his people.***

Prohibition on celebrating the festivals of the kuffaar
Is it permissible for Muslims to take part in their festivals, such as Christmas?

Praise be to Allaah.

It is not permissible for the Muslim to join the kuffaar in their festivals and to express joy and happiness on these occasions, or to take the day off work, whether the occasion is religious or secular, because this is a kind of imitating the enemies of Allaah, which is forbidden, and a kind of co-operating with them in falsehood. It was proven that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever imitates a people is one of them.” And Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Help you one another in Al‑Birr and At‑Taqwa (virtue, righteousness and piety); but do not help one another in sin and transgression. And fear Allaah. Verily, Allaah is Severe in punishment”[al-Maa'idah 5:2]

We advise you to refer to the book Iqtidaa’ al-Siraat al-Mustaqeem by Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him), for it is very useful on this topic. [Translator’s note: This book is available in English under the title “The Right Way,” published by Darussalam, Riyadh].

And Allaah is the source of strength. May Allaah bless our Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions, and grant them peace.

Kya Hamare Dilo Par Tale Lage Hai

Quran main ALLAH taa'la ne 4 chize khana haram kaha hai-mare huwe janwar ka gosh, khun, suwar ka maas aur us janwarko jo ALLAH ke siwaye kisi aur par Qurban kiya ho-Quran 2:173
Kya log ALLAH ki bheji hui wahi Quran par soch vichar nahi karte ya unke dilo par taale lage hai-(Al Quran 47:24)
Quran ki har baat sach hai..jo bhi baatien humare liye haram kahi gayi hai woh humare behtari keliye hai, lekin kya hum sochte bhi hai humara RAB humse kuch keh raha hai?? hume yeh sab bas bandishe lagti hai, haina???
apne non muslims dosto se bhi baat karen, kis tarah Quran humari bhalayi chahta hai unhe bhi samjhaye..
